ISATS are here!

The time has come!  The ISAT tests will be given starting next week into the following week (first two weeks in March).  We will not test on this coming Monday so as to ease the students into the week.  There will also not be a Spelling list to test on in Miss Pellin's class next week.

On the actual ISAT test the students will be asked to fill in bubbles after reading stories and doing math problems.  They will also be asked to write quite a bit for extended responses in both math and reading.  This can be a very tiring and anxiety-provoking activity, so we will be taking lots of breaks and adhering to the state testing accommodations listed in each student's IEP.  The staff can read the math test to the students if they have the test read accommodation, but cannot read the reading test.  Please make sure that your student comes to school each day well rested and having had a great healthy breakfast.  My students will test on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of next week as well as Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday of the following week.

Let me know if you have any questions!  We will try to make this process as calm and easy as possible!  Thanks for your support at home!
