You may have seen earlier in the year a list of journal prompts. It is time to begin thinking about writing as we approach the summer. A great way to motivate your children to participate in summer writing is by taking them to purchase a special notebook and pen! I am attaching a link of possible prompts that really stimulates imagination and creativity in writing. It is easy to create prompts as well, that cater to the unique interests of your children. When your child completes an entry it is important to write a short response back in the notebook. This will instill a gratification that will help them continue making entries. Have a great weekend!
