Hello!

Next week we have MAPs testing and some of our students may be displaying some anxiety. This is the last opportunity to demonstrate growth, so it is important to be calm and prepared. The most important strategy is to get a good and full night of sleep prior to the test. This will ensure the students are well rested and can have the best performance. It is also important to have a nice sufficient breakfast so our students are not distracted by hunger. Sometimes high protein foods such as eggs can improve concentration and minimize fatigue. For students to feel most relaxed it can sometimes help to wear comfortable clothing. Lastly, if your student is prone to getting test anxiety, remind them to take deep breaths during these instances. These procedures will help ensure that your student will best demonstrate their ability. I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys the nice weather!
