What's in the Forsman Future?
Reading
We have been doing a lot with guided reading this week and will continue next week. We like to give the students lots of chances to read out loud in a comfortable environment. They are reading "good fit" books so they should feel more confident and can work on their sentences fluency and comprehension practice as well. I know my groups have had fun reading the book Bunnicula about a vampire bunny!

Math
We did test on Chapter 4 and got awesome scores! Way to go students! :) We have also begun and will continue next week our study of money. Any chance you get, have your student practice counting money, adding and subtracting money, and if they need a challenge... counting out change! This will help them get a "leg up" in class. Money is the first half of Chapter 5. We will concentrate on that and then quiz the students solely on their money skills. The second half of Chapter 5 is time - we will move on to that after our money quiz.
