Hi families! It's one of the three times in the year that Special Education Progress Reports are sent home in the next week or so (unless you just had an IEP meeting within the last week)...
I always write the disclaimer each year in my blog that the progress report page is very subjective and asks if the progress is sufficient enough for the student to meet their goal by the end of the school year. Often times I will write no if the goal is intended to carry them on through 4th grade. I might also say yes if the goal will be amended or increased in some way at their next IEP meeting this year. Please know if I ever have concerns you will be contacted and conversely - if you ever have questions or concerns I am always available!
